Background Problem: There is a high demand for early detection of mental health and physical stress, but brainwave tests (EEG) and autonomic nerve function tests (such as HRV) are mainly performed individually in hospitals, making regular checks in daily life difficult. There is a need for a simple way to screen for chronic stress or early cognitive decline in primary care institutions.

Limitations of Existing Methods: Brainwave tests require specialized equipment and personnel, limiting them to neurology departments or research purposes. Autonomic nervous system HRV measurements are also separated into separate equipment, making comprehensive mental-physical state evaluations cumbersome. Furthermore, it was difficult to integrate and analyze individual results to interpret the overall health status, and it was also complicated to explain to patients.

UNO BrainBody integrates a two-channel EEG sensor and a dome-shaped PPG pulse wave sensor to measure brain health and mental/physical stress indicators at once within 1 minute. The measurement results yield the SEF-90, TBR, and high-beta stress indicators of the EEG, as well as the total power and HF/LF of the HRV tomental health (cognitive function and stress)andphysical condition (autonomic nerve balance and vitality)simultaneously.

It enhances user convenience with facial recognition login and a tablet interface, and is linked to data management and personal app'UNOCARE'through a cloud-based CMS.

In particular, in Korea, it is designed to comply with three types of health insurance fee codes for brainwave, autonomic nerve, and pulse measurements, lowering the barrier to adoption as hospitals can claim examination support funds. It is currently being adopted and used in psychiatric, internal medicine, and family medicine clinics in Korea, and will continue to be upgraded in the future with AI interpretation functions and the addition of new biomarkers.

Local clinics and health checkup centers (B2B). Family medicine and mental health doctors may purchase it to objectively assess patients' stress, depression, and sleep status, or corporate welfare centers or fitness centers may introduce it for customer health services. The primary customers are medical/wellness service providers rather than general consumers for B2C sales.

The current product is for medical settings, but in the long term, it can be expanded to health booths for office workers, gyms, and public facilities. It has already been deployed in hundreds of clinics across Korea, and the company is planning to enter overseas hospital/clinic markets by pursuing US FDA approval, etc.

However, the clinical use of brainwave data varies depending on the medical culture, so it may first enter overseas markets as a wellness device. Basically, it is managed in the cloud with just an internet connection, so there are few technical limitations to scaling.
