The T7 Resurrected is the world's first external SSD with an exterior case made of 100% recycled aluminum, reusing aluminum scraps generated during the production of Samsung Galaxy smartphones to realize cross-division resource circulation. The recycled aluminum has been certified by TÜV Rheinland in Germany, verifying its quality and stability, and implements a circular design that utilizes electronic waste as a new product resource.
By using a non-pigmented natural finish, the use of chemical substances was minimized by omitting the painting or dyeing process, and eco-friendly elements were reflected even in the packaging stage by using 100% recycled paper packaging and soybean oil ink. It is designed to be easily disassembled and recycled even after the product's lifespan, maximizing resource circulation throughout its entire lifecycle.
In terms of technical performance, it adopts a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface on an NVMe-based SSD to provide ultra-high-speed transfer performance with sequential read speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,000MB/s. It also features AES 256-bit hardware encryption and drop resistance up to 2 meters, maintaining the same performance and reliability as the existing T7 series despite the use of eco-friendly materials. In other words,"realizing eco-friendly values without sacrificing performance"is the biggest differentiating point.
